About

A recipe has no soul. You, as the cook, must bring soul to the recipe. -Thomas Keller.

For some, cooking is a chore. For others it is a pain staking love that keeps the imagination running wild. Jason will happily confess that for him, time spent in any kitchen is most definitely the latter. While food pairings and menus fill his thoughts, his hands are busy crafting dishes that will hopefully inspire others to explore their culinary creativity. Or at least eat.

Like many esteemed chefs before him, Jason had a penchant for food early on. He pursued his education first in the United States and eventually traveled to Europe to study at Le Cordon Bleu, Paris. Classical French training was enhanced with culinary tours through Northern Italy during his time abroad. These travels combined with his Southern California upbringing ultimately led to his acute taste for a Mediterranean diet. Dishes rich with Provençal ingredients such as seafood, artichokes, garlic, and olive oil quickly became maintstays in his kitchen. Coupled with his interest in nutrition and fitness, Jason takes pride in using his training to help others discover how delicious "health" food can be.

Primarily based in Los Angeles, California, Jason has had the opportunity to provide personal service to some of the area's most prominent families. Private dinner parties have given him the chance to serve his signature cuisine to heads of government, entertainment executives and celebrities alike. With each meal, he strives to strike the perfect balance between flavor and presentation, along with a few surprises along the way.
